Welcome to Theatre Arts

Welcome to the Department of Theatre Arts at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. Since our inception in the 2013/2014 academic session, we have been dedicated to enriching the educational, cultural, informational, and entertainment fabric of our university community. Originally a sub-unit under the Department of Music, we proudly became an independent department on February 8, 2014. Our program is designed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills in theatre studies. We invite you to join us on a transformative journey where passion for the performing arts meets academic excellence. Together, let’s bring stories to life on stage and beyond.
