Prof. Cynado C.N.O. Ezeogidi is the Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. History

Date of Creation: Originally part of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Arts became an autonomous unit upon the university's establishment. Initially comprising four departments—English, Religion, Igbo, and Philosophy—the Faculty expanded to include Music, Theatre Arts, and History.

Significant Contributions:

  • Played a crucial role in the university's growth, particularly in supporting other faculties through the General Studies Unit and the Faculty of Education.
  • Established itself as a hub for academic excellence through dedicated scholarship and rigorous academic pursuits.
